Configure settings at Agent Connector → Settings.

Abilities

Enable Agent Connector — When enabled, Agent Connector runs the MCP server provided by the WordPress MCP Adapter and exposes the abilities other plugins have registered. Turn it off to stop all agent access at once.

Universal Abilities Plugin — Installs the companion plugin that adds shell, PHP eval, filesystem, WP-CLI and the admin login link over MCP. Off by default — the row shows an Install button, or Active once installed. See Install Universal Abilities.

Protection

Disable production warning — Hides the site-wide dashboard warning shown while Agent Connector runs on a production environment. Clicking “I understand” on the warning sets this too.

Block on production environments — Stops the MCP server entirely while wp_get_environment_type() returns production. WordPress derives that value from the WP_ENVIRONMENT_TYPE constant (defined in wp-config.php) or an environment variable of the same name, defaulting to production when neither is set. Off by default, so a production site works but shows the warning above.

Enable domain lock — Blocks all abilities if the site’s domain changes — this protects a database copied to another site (for example, staging pushed to production). When it is on, three more rows appear below it:

Locked to — read-only. The domain the lock is pinned to; abilities are blocked on any other domain.

This site reports — read-only. The domain this site currently reports.

Reconnect to this domain — Re-pins the lock to the current domain after an intentional move.

Debug

Log MCP events — Records every MCP request in the database and shows it on the Log screen. Off by default. The recorded bodies can contain sensitive data, so leave it off unless you are debugging.
